With a background in the fashion industry and a specialisation in textile pattern and print design, I combine creative vision with a deep passion for nature as the founder of MOUNID – an innovation-driven company developing harmless, algae-based textile dyes. I'm driven by the mission to transform how colour is created and perceived in textiles and design, promoting healthier, circular alternatives to conventional dyeing methods.

Since 2018, in collaboration with RISE – Research Institutes of Sweden and supported by Smart Textiles (Science Park Borås), I've been running the research and development of MOUNID’s algae-based dyes. MOUNID was founded in 2019, and in 2021, our first product concept was validated with stakeholders across the Swedish textile value chain, supported by Vinnova, Sweden's Innovation Agency in partnership with Wargön Innovation.
MOUNID are now progressing towards commercialisation, along with ongoing innovation projects such as KELPTEX and ALLGAE, led by Chalmers Industriteknik, focused on both scaling bio-based, algae-derived dye solutions and pioneer circular textiles.
We are also a proud participant in the EU Horizon project LOCALITY, with The Swedish School of Textiles/Science Park Borås, where we work to bridge research and industry by co-developing sustainable value chains to bring algae-based innovations to regional and global markets.
